Mary Jane Merrill

Mary Jane Merrill has been a part of the LSU Athletics Department since November of 2002, when she joined the staff as the travel manager. For 20-plus years, she has managed every facet of the travel arrangements for the Tigers’ athletic teams by coordinating transportation and lodging and leading the same efforts for coaches and recruits on official recruiting visits. Merrill owned Bocage Travel prior to arriving at LSU.

Merrill was born and raised in Baton Rouge. She earned her bachelor’s of science at Birmingham-Southern College in 1990, and she graduated from Trafton Academy in 1986, which located in Baton Rouge and now known as the Dunham School.

Merrill is the youngest of three siblings with two brothers named Carter and Trey. She has five nieces and nephews, plus nine great nieces and nephews with another on the way. She also has rescue dog named Richie.
