Mariah Turner

Mariah Turner joined the LSU Football staff in August 2024 as the Director of Recruiting Strategy and Events. A four-year letterwinner and captain of the University of Tulsa women’s basketball team, Turner oversees all logistics and planning for unofficial and official recruiting for the Tigers.

Prior to joining the staff at LSU, Turner spent a year in the scouting department of the Buffalo Bills. A part of the Nunn-Wooten Scouting Fellowship, Turner assisted the Bills’ front office in logistics, reporting, evaluation of prospects and in practice.

Turner spent two seasons at Oklahoma State as the Director of Football Recruiting from 2021-23 where she facilitated all aspects of the Cowboys’ recruiting efforts, oversaw logistics for coaches and prospects and collaborated with the creative team on strategy.

She also worked at her alma mater for a season as the director of basketball operations and at the Big Ten conference office for two seasons in football and basketball championship operations.

Turner graduated in May 2015 from the University of Tulsa with a bachelor’s degree in communications and completed her master’s degree at the University of Oklahoma in May 2017. Outside of full-time experience, Turner also has participated in the 2020 NFL Women’s Forum, the Women’s Leaders in College Sports and NCAA Emerging Leaders program.
