Madison Mai

Madison Mai joined the LSU Sports Medicine staff in July 2025 as an intern athletic trainer with the baseball team.

Mai earned her bachelor of science in applied physiology and kinesiology from the University of Florida, where she worked with the football, volleyball, and cheer and dance teams.

Mai went on to complete her Master of Science in Athletic Training at the University of South Florida. During her time at USF, Madison gained clinic experience through rotations with the baseball, women’s lacrosse, and women’s basketball teams. She also completed a summer immersion at the Toronto Blue Jays Player Development Complex.

Mai holds certifications in IV Therapy for Athletic Trainers, HawkGrips, Mental Health First Aid for Higher Education, and CPR/AED.

Originally from Panama City, Fla., Mai enjoys being outdoors, going on nature walks, and spending time with her family and friends.
