Lenzie Newman Season 2025-26

Lenzie Newman came to LSU in June of 2025 from West Virginia University, where she served as the athletic trainer for the men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs.

Prior to WVU, Newman attended University of Tennessee-Chattanooga where she completed her master’s degree in athletic training. While there, she worked primarily with the Mocs’ football program while also assisting with other sports. Her post-graduate work experience included an internship with USA Boxing at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and as an immersion student at Virginia Tech working with the Hokies’ softball and women’s lacrosse teams.

Newman completed her bachelor of science degree in athletic training and rehabilitation services at Kansas State University in 2022.
