Laura Starkey

In 2025–26, Laura Starkey enters her fifth year with LSU Athletics as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletics Communications office.

Starkey began her LSU career in the fall of 2021 as a freshman intern, gaining experience across multiple sports. She quickly advanced to Student Communications Director for LSU Beach Volleyball (2022-25), overseeing daily social media strategy, management, press releases, and game recaps. Starkey led all media relations and social media efforts, including the team’s 2024 Final Four run. She also contributed to the social media coverage of LSU Baseball’s 2025 National Championship.

As a Graduate Assistant, Starkey serves as the secondary contact for Baseball, Football, and Beach Volleyball, while also supporting additional programs, including Men’s and Women’s Basketball.

She will graduate in May 2027 with a master’s degree in Leadership and Human Resource Development.
