Kyle Killilea
Kyle Killilea joined LSU as a Football Athletic Development Graduate Assistant in January 2022.
Prior to his arrival to LSU, Killilea was a Paid Professional Intern Football Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Notre Dame (June 2021-January 2022). In addition to aiding in implementing the strength & conditioning program, he helped coach the return-to-play student athletes and assisted with sports science data collection and analyzing.
Prior to Notre Dame, he was an Intern Football Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Cincinnati (January 2021- May 2022).
Prior to Cincinnati, he was an Intern Strength & Conditioning Coach at Grandville High School in Grandville, Mich. (June 2020-November 2020). There he assisted with every sport at the high school in the weight room, assisted with strength & conditioning classes for off-season students, and assisted the football team by coaching the kickers.
Killilea is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University in 2020. At Grand Valley State, he was a member of the football team from 2016-2020 and a campus ambassador. Kyle is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sport Management through the School of Kinesiology at LSU. He will be graduating with his Master’s degree in December of 2023.
Killilea was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. He is the son of Betsy and Tim Killilea.
