Keelen Alford

Keelen Alford enters his third year as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations at LSU, where he helps manage ticketing operations for Men’s Basketball, Volleyball, and student tickets. He began his full-time role in January 2023 after serving as a student intern with LSU Athletics, where he developed a strong foundation in event operations and customer service.

Alford’s path to this position has been shaped by a diverse upbringing and a strong appreciation for service and teamwork. Originally from Jacksonville, Fla., he grew up in a military family and lived in several cities across the United States and Germany before settling in Shreveport, La., where he graduated from Captain Shreve High School’s Engineering Magnet Program in 2018.

That same year, Alford was selected for the LSU Summer Scholars Program, which introduced him to the university’s academic environment and helped him build lasting connections. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration with a minor in Business Administration from LSU in 2022. During his time as a student, he participated in the Summer Scholars Program, was actively involved in the Sports Administration Group, and interned with the LSU Athletic Ticket Office.

Alford is passionate about technology, sports, and fitness, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. He plans to return to LSU to pursue either an MBA or a Master’s in Data Analytics to continue growing in the field of collegiate athletics.
