Kayla Lawson
Kayla Lawson, the director of performance nutrition for the Olympic Sports at LSU, is entering her third season in Baton Rouge.
Lawson earned her bachelor’s in biological science and her master’s in nutrition at NC State University. While at NCSU, she competed in high jump and triple jump for the Track and field Team.
Before coming to LSU, Lawson worked with Olympic sports at the University of Michigan, outpatient sports nutrition counseling, and school nutrition for the state of North Carolina.
She is an active member of the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association, serving as the Chair of their DEI Committee.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on her favorite sports teams, working out, and doing DIY projects.
