Kayla Buckey

Kayla Buckey joined LSU Athletics in June 2025 as a Graduate Assistant in Athletic Operations.

She began her career in collegiate athletics at the University of Michigan, where she served as an Events and Facilities Intern from 2022-24 before transitioning to the role of Special Events Assistant from 2024-25. In these positions, she gained extensive experience in event planning, game day coordination, and facility operations across multiple varsity sports.

Buckey earned her bachelor of science in sport management from Eastern Michigan University in December 2023 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport Management.
