Julie Cribbs is the Assistant Athletic Director for Operations at LSU, having joined the athletics department in 2006 as the Coordinator of Game and Event Management. Cribbs was promoted to her current role in 2024 after previously serving as the Director of Game and Event Management since 2018. She also served as the Associate Director of Game and Event Management for seven years, and before that, as the Assistant Director of Game and Event Management from 2008 to 2011.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Cribbs currently serves as the primary game and event manager for LSU Football and Men’s and Women’s Golf. She was the lead event manager for the Garth Brooks concert which brought over 100,000 country music fans to Tiger Stadium in 2022. Previously she functioned as the game manager for men’s basketball, softball, indoor and beach volleyball, gymnastics, women’s basketball and Bayou Country Superfest for seven years. She has served as the tournament director for over 20 NCAA and SEC Championships that LSU has hosted. As a member of the NCAA Beach Volleyball Committee, she was selected as the Chair for the 2024 championship season.

Cribbs served on the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) Board of Directors from 2017 – 2019 and as an Officer from 2019 – 2024. She functioned as the organization’s President from 2023 – 2024. She is a member of the Intercollegiate Advisory Committee for the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) and has been as a guest speaker and moderator at the NACDA Fall Forum and National Convention multiple times. Cribbs is a graduate of the Women Leaders in College Sports Institute for Administrative Advancement and Leadership Enhancement Institute.

Prior to 2006, Cribbs attended the University of Iowa and was a graduate assistant in the Event Management Department. From 1999 – 2002 she worked as an assistant coach and head coach with field hockey and lacrosse at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA and Hanover College in Hanover, IN.

Cribbs earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 from Hanover College and her Master of Science in Sport Management degree from LSU in 2021.

Julie and her wife, Jaime Blanchard, reside in Baton Rouge with Noah, their great dane and two bulldogs, Frankie and Millie.
