Julian Felder
Julian Felder comes to LSU Athletics after spending the previous three years at the University of North Carolina as the Director of Event Management.
In his position, Felder served as the lead Gameday Operations Manager for multiple athletic programs including women’s soccer, women’s basketball, and women’s lacrosse. He also held the role of tournament director for multiple ACC, NCAA, and NCHSAA postseason championships held on campus. Felder also took on various event operations responsibilities when UNC served as the institutional host for the 2022 and 2024 Men’s Soccer College Cup, the 2022, 2023, and 2024 Women’s Soccer College Cup, and the 2023 and 2024 Women’s Lacrosse Final Four in Cary, N.C.
Prior to UNC, Julian was at San Jose State University’s Athletics department from 2019-21 when he held the position of the Facilities and Events Coordinator. He was responsible for the daily oversight of all athletic facilities and served as the primary event manager for multiple athletic programs. Felder’s intercollegiate experience also includes serving as the Facilities, Events, and Operations Assistant with The George Washington University’s Athletics Department from 2015-17.
Outside of his collegiate sports experience, Felder has also worked for numerous professional organizations such as the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards where he held the position as a Game Night Marketing Assistant. From 2016-17, Julian also served as a Promotions and Events intern with the Washington Nationals, and in 2014 was a Facilities and Events Operations Intern with DC United.
Julian, who is originally from Suffolk, Va, received his bachelor’s degree in sports management from George Mason University in 2015 and his master’s degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University in 2017.
