Jas Smith Season 2024

Jas Smith joined the LSU football staff in January of 2022 and serves as Director of Football Operations for the Tigers. Smith oversees the day-to-day operations for the LSU football team and staff and works closely with LSU football chief of staff Beth Rex on various projects.

It’s Smith second stint on a Brian Kelly staff as she served as the coordinator of on-campus football recruiting at Notre Dame for nearly three years from 2018-21.

Smith came to LSU after serving as senior sports manager for the Special Olympics in Miami in 2021.

Prior to her time with the Special Olympics, Smith was assistant director of undergraduate admissions at Nova Southeastern University for one year. She also worked as an admissions counselor at Notre Dame for just over a year in 2016-17.

During her undergraduate days at Notre Dame, she worked with the football program as an ambassador for just over two years in 2014-16.

Smith is a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame with a degree in Information Technology Management. She completed her Masters in Business Analytics Intelligence and Analytics in 2020.
