Jack Erickson oversees the coordination of strength and conditioning programs for the LSU Swim and Dive teams. Erickson also assists with the training of the LSU Men’s Basketball program. Additionally, he works with the LSU Tiger Girls and is entering his fifth season as a member of the LSU performance staff.

Coach Erickson serves as the co-coordinator for the LSU Olympic Strength and Conditioning intern program and is involved with sport science initiatives on campus.

Erickson earned his Master of Science in Exercise Physiology in May of 2023 from the LSU School of Kinesiology. He joined the LSU Strength and Conditioning staff in September 2021 as a graduate assistant after SEC experience interning with the Olympic Strength and Conditioning staffs at the University of Kentucky and the University of Arkansas.

A native of Smithfield, Virginia, Erickson earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Virginia. He served three seasons as a student manager for the Cavaliers’ football program and completed a strength and conditioning internship with the UVA Football performance staff.

Erickson is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and holds a USA Weightlifting Level 1 (USAW-1) certification.
