Gabe Merville
Gabe Merville enters his eighth year at LSU and his second as the Executive Director of Analytics, Strategy, and Revenue Integration for LSU Athletics.
In this role, Merville leads a team that supports both business operations and team-specific initiatives across the athletic department. On the business side, he oversees ticketing and membership revenue generation campaigns, spearheads digital marketing efforts—including email marketing, paid media, and management of the LSU Sports Mobile App—and manages revenue reporting, reconciliation, and CRM-driven lead generation for the LSU Athletics Ticket Sales and Service Team.
Merville also plays a key role in cross-departmental collaboration, helping to implement data-informed strategies throughout LSU Athletics, with a focus on external business units.
In addition to his business responsibilities, he supports various sports programs by integrating data analytics into scouting, game planning, student-athlete development, and performance evaluation.
Before joining LSU Athletics, Merville worked as an analyst at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana.
He earned his B.S. in Information Systems & Decision Sciences with a concentration in Business Intelligence from LSU in 2017 and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Analytics at LSU.
