Braydin Sik
Braydin Sik enters his second year with the LSU Athletics Department as an Assistant Communications Director, overseeing communications and public relations efforts for the Tigers’ track & field and cross country programs. Since his hiring in January of 2023, Sik has grown the LSU Track & Field and Cross Country brand to over 200K followers across all platforms.
Prior to arriving at LSU, Sik spent a year and a half as an athletic communications assistant in Middle Tennessee State University’s athletic department. During his time in Murfreesboro, Braydin oversaw the communications for volleyball, cross country, track and field, and assisted with women’s basketball (secondary).
Before heading to Middle Tennessee, he completed an internship with James Madison’s communications department as the primary contact for men’s and women’s golf. He also assisted with men’s and women’s basketball, softball, and volleyball.
Sik signed to play football at Dakota Wesleyan University in 2016 and then transferred after a season to the University of South Dakota. He completed his B.S. in Kinesiology and Sport Management in May 2021. While at USD, he completed internships with USD’s fan engagement and marketing department, the Summit League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments, and was an operations coordinator for the South Dakota High School Football Championships.
Sik is a native of Brookings, South Dakota, where he went to Brookings High School and played football, track and field, and wrestling. Braydin is the son of Christy Sik and has three siblings.
