Competed in four meets during her freshman campaign… opened the season taking 36th overall at the Battle for New Orleans with a 4k personal-best time of 14:51.2… finished top 20 at the LSU Invitational with a 3k split of 11:24.6 to finish 18th… closed the season with a 6k PR of 23:01.9 to finish 203rd at the Arturo Barrios Invitational.
PRIOR TO LSU – St. Joseph’s Academy
As a key component of the St. Josephs Academy cross-country team, Michelle Daigle became the first runner in state history with three sub-17-minute finishes and helped her team to a fourth straight state championship in 2024 before being named the Gatorade Cross-Country Runner of the Year in Louisiana… during those four-straight title wins, Daigle was a top-10 finisher in each state championship meet… an nine-time Louisiana state champion indoors and outdoors combined… in 2025, claimed state titles in the 4×800-meter relay outdoors and the 1600 meter and 4×800 indoors… the 2024 track and field season saw her take LHSAA gold in the 800 meter and 4×800 indoors, while also claiming the 4×800 outdoors… claimed gold in the LHSAA 4×800 outdoors and indoors in 2023… helped her 4×800 to gold at the LHSAA meet outdoors in 2022… holds personal bests of 2:14.53 in the 800 meter, 4:58.36 in the 1600 meter, 11:00.12 in the 3200 meter, 16:56.7 in the three mile (XC) and 18:23.9 in the 5000 meter (XC).
