A successful cross country and track and field runner throughout high school coming out of Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia … Finished fifth at the Virginia Class 5A State Cross Country Championship as a senior … A third-place finisher in the Virginia 3,200-meter state final in the 2016 outdoor track and field season … Conference 9-5A Champion in six events, including the 400 meters, 800 meters (3x), 1,600 meters and the 5,000 meters … Finished sixth in the 800-meter final at the VHSL Class 5A South Regional with a personal-best time of 1 minute, 58.15 seconds during the 2016 season.
