Returned to the courts after suffering an injury in her freshman season…Earned six victories in the dual season behind three ranked victories…Took down then-No. 69 Marcela Lopez of Oklahoma State, 6-3, 6-0 at the ITA National Indoor Championships in LSU’s eventual 4-0 victory over No. 3 Oklahoma State on Feb. 9 to post the highest-ranked victory in program history…Jump-started LSU’s rally over South Carolina on March 16 as the first singles match to finish, defeating a ranked opponent in then-No. 93 Misa Malkin, 6-2, 6-4…Clinched the 4-0 victory over Arkansas on Apr. 4 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Anet Koskel…Captured six overall doubles victories with four different partners throughout the campaign…Named an ITA Scholar Athlete and placed on the SEC Academic Honor Roll…Earned her second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2023-24)
Had a strong start to her LSU career, going 13-8 in singles and 10-3 in doubles in the fall and spring before suffering a season ending injury against Tulane in February … Went 12-5 in singles across four ITA tournaments in the fall … Finished runner-up in both singles and doubles (with Anita Sahdiieva) at the 2023 ITA Southern Regional … Earned one win at the No. 1 singles spot before her season was cut short … Was 8-2 with partner Sahdiieva in doubles, including 4-1 at the No. 1 doubles court together … Named to the 2024 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll for her success in the classroom … Earned her first varsity letter.
