SOPHOMORE SEASON (2012)
Played in 31 rounds, averaging 73.4 to lead the team … Two-year average for 59 rounds of 73.3, second best in LSU women’s golf history … Posted her third career victory as a collegiate with an amazing school record score of 13-under par 203 (67-69-67) in winning the season opening Cougar Classic … Three other top five finishes – 5th at Lady Puerto Rico Classic to open the spring with an even par 216; 4th at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic at 2-over 218 and second at the NCAA West Regional at 6-under 210 (71-69-70) … Struggled early on in the NCAA Championships in trying to defend her crown, but helped LSU to a second straight third place finish in the championships with a four-under 68 in the final round … 14 rounds of par or under, 28 for two years … 7 top fives in two years; 9 top 10s … Played for the U.S.A. in the Spirit International as part of the gold medal winning team and played for the United States in the Walker Cup matches against Great Britain and Ireland.
SUMMER (2011)
Advanced all the way to the 18th hole of her semifinal match in the United States Women’s Amateur before falling to the No. 2 Junior Girls golfer in the world … Rallied from three down after three holes to get the match square on the 15th hole … Was the 10th seed after qualifying with back-to-back rounds of even par 71 at the Rhode Island Golf Club … Won matches for the first time in four career USGA events … Never recorded a card higher than even par, shooting three under 68 in the round she lost.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2010-11)
Authored one of the more storied moments in LSU women’s golf history when she became the first LSU player to win the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship at The Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas … Fired rounds of 72-66-77-66 to shoot a school record 72-hole total of 7-under par 281 to win the title by three strokes … Along with John Peterson of the LSU men’s team, LSU becomes the first school in history to hold both NCAA individual titles in the same calendar year … In final round, rallied from three shots down jump started by a hole-in-one on the second hole (165 yards) and then a 60-
foot birdie putt on the third hole … 66s equaled second lowest round ever shot by LSU player in the championships … Matched her teammate Megan McChrystal’ s feat of a year ago by finishing in the top 10 in all three post-season events – ninth at SECs, tied for third at Regionals and then the national championship … Won two titles (also winning the Central District Invitational in February with a three-under 213) … First freshman to win a title for LSU since 1997 … Averaged 73.2 for her first season (28 rounds) with five top 10s … 14 rounds of par or under, six of those coming in the last rounds of tournaments … Shot best 54-hole total of 5-under 211, finishing tied for 10th in the first event of her LSU career, the Tar Heel Invitational.
