Played in 15 games this season … Made the third most three-points shots on the team and the best percentage behind the arc … 11 of her 13 field goals this season are three-pointers … Scored a season-high nine points against Washington State in her hometown of Miami, Fla., and Southwest Texas … Hit a career-best three three-point baskets in each of those two games … Has scored in all but three of the games she has played this season.
JUNIOR SEASON (2001-02)
Played in 17 games for the Lady Tigers, averaging 2.9 points…Connected on 13 of 33 three-point shots, the best percentage on the team…Scored a career-high 11 points against Mercer on Dec.18th the game after she posted 10 points in 13 minutes against UL-Lafayette…Connected on three three-points shots in each of those games…Scored seven points in 15 minutes against Mississippi on Jan. 17th.
JUNIOR COLLEGE (2000-01)
Ranked ninth in scoring (18.3 ppg) in the NJCAA at Miami-Dade CC under coach Susan Summons … Shot 42.6-percent from 3-point range for the season to rank 16th nationally … Only failed to score in double-figures once.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played for Miramar High School under head coach Richard Crawley … Earned four letters in basketball and volleyball … Scored 1,875 points in her high school career … Averaged 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists her senior season … Named the Florida High School Athletic Association Broward County Player of the Year in 1999 … Was an all-county selection her sophomore, junior and senior years … Also played volleyball, soccer and ran track at Miramar.
