SENIOR SEASON (2013-14)
Turned in a balanced 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game … The 11.3 PPG enabled her to double her scoring output averages from her first three seasons in 2013-14 … The 3.5 assists per game were 10th in the SEC rankings … Provided 13 of her 19 games in double figures versus SEC opponents … Her 91.5 percent effort at the foul line would have ranked first among the SEC leaders if she qualified for the league rankings … Kenney’s 39.2 three-point field goal percentage was third in the SEC and 45th nationally whereas 2.2 triples per game are good enough for fourth place on the SEC leaderboard … Suffered a concussion in October and started 30 games in a row (Nov. 20-March 25) after coming off bench in LSU’s first three games … Picked up 11 points over 24 minutes at No. 4 Louisville (Nov. 14) … Nailed three clutch triples against Michigan (Nov. 30) during the second half and helped LSU rally from an eight-point deficit … Grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds versus Indiana State (Dec. 3) … Put together run of five straight games in double figures (Dec. 20-Jan. 9) … Fired in 17 points highlighted by four three-pointers at North Carolina State (Dec. 20) … Exploded for 22 points sparked by a career-best six triples versus Jackson State (Dec. 30) … Started Tulane game (Jan. 5) with four consecutive three-balls and finished with 17 points … Raised her averages to 12.6 points and 3.6 assists per game during SEC regular season play … The 3.6 assists were tied for 8th whereas the 12.6 points were 25th on the SEC leaderboard … Distributed a career-high 10 assists against Florida (Jan. 12) – last LSU player to accomplish that feat was Katherine Graham in 2009-10 … Pumped in a career-best 30 points on 7-of-10 shooting at Missouri (Jan. 16) … Sank a career-high tying six triples and a career-best 10 free throws during the Missouri game … One of five players in the SEC to amass a 30-point scoring performance during a league game this season … Last LSU player to record 30 points in a game was Allison Hightower during the 2009-10 season … Secured 19 points and four steals versus Missouri (Feb. 6) … Five of her six field goals were triples en route to 17 points at Georgia (Feb. 20) … Garnered 21 points and a season’s best five steals versus No. 10 Tennessee (Feb. 27) … Compiled 16 points and four assists during LSU’s SEC Tournament win over Alabama (March 6) … Chipped in 11 points, seven rebounds and six assists during LSU’s NCAA First Round win over Georgia Tech (March 23) … Suffered a season-ending concussion in first half versus No. 7 West Virginia (March 25) during NCAA Second Round contest .
JUNIOR SEASON (2012-13)
LSU’s vocal leader who was tops on the team in assists with 137 … Averaged 4.3 assists per game, which ranked eighth in the SEC … Played in 32 games with 24 starts … Recorded at least five assists in 16 games … Suffered injuries to her knee, shin, head and foot during the year but still managed to play … Ranked fourth in the SEC in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.0) … Was also fourth in that category in SEC only games, dishing out 63 assists to only 30 turnovers … Produced 13 points in the season-opener against Wichita State (Nov. 11) … Notched a then career high in assists with eight at Georgetown (Nov. 19) to go along with 11 points … Tied a then career high and season high with eight assists at Florida International (Nov. 25) … Tied a then career high in rebounds with seven while recording seven assists at Florida Gulf Coast (Dec. 28) … Missed the Mississippi State game (Jan. 13) after injuring her left shoulder in practice … Returned to action off the bench at No. 18 South Carolina (Jan. 17) and showed her toughness, scoring six points with five assists and a career-high two blocks while taking back-to-back charges in the first half … Injured her left shin in a collision at the 5:43 mark in the second half at No. 4 Kentucky (Jan. 27) but returned and still managed to record five assists … Played 21 minutes versus No. 14 Texas A&M (Feb. 4) before sustaining a left knee sprain with 16:49 remaining in the second half where she did not return … In one of the most courageous efforts in recent LSU history, played 30 minutes and helped LSU rally from an 11-point deficit against No. 12 Tennessee (Feb. 7), just three days after spraining her left knee … Dished out five assists, took two crucial charges, had two steals and scored four points against the Lady Vols … Returned to the starting lineup and helped lead LSU past No. 9 Georgia (Feb. 10) with 11 points, five assists and a then career-high-tying six free throws … Had the game of her career with a then career-best 22 points, 5-of-5 threes, two charges and 7-of-8 field goals to lead LSU to upset of No. 7 Kentucky (Feb. 24) … Came off the bench in that game as she was questionable with a foot injury but continued to show her toughness, just days after the passing of her grandfather … Scored eight points and dished out six assists before suffering a head injury with 44 seconds left in the game against No. 20 Green Bay in NCAA First Round (March 24) … Did not play or dress in the NCAA Second Round game against No. 8 Penn State (March 26) … Returned to the court in the NCAA Regional semifinal against No. 6 California (March 30) and had six points off the bench.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011-12)
Tallied a team-high 2.8 assists per game, which ranked 10th in the SEC … Reached double figures in scoring six times and averaged 5.6 points per game … Assumed the point guard role following Destini Hughes’ season-ending injury on Jan. 19 … Played in 32 games with 31 starts … In the season-opener at Wichita State (Nov. 14), scored 16 points with five rebounds, five assists and a 4-of-5 effort from three-point range … Scored 13 points in the second half and rallied LSU from a five-point deficit midway through the second half … Set a season-high in assists (7) against Northwestern (Nov. 22 )… Collected a career-high-tying five steals in 35 minutes against UCLA (Dec. 13) while scoring seven points … Notched seven assists and scored 10 points — the most by her since the season-opener — in helping lead LSU past Ole Miss (Jan. 1) … Suffered a concussion in the first minute of the game at No. 9 Tennessee (Jan. 19) after sustaining an elbow to the head … Left at the 18:13 mark in the first half and did not return … Missed the Arkansas (Jan. 22) and East Tennessee State (Jan. 24) games while recovering … Outstanding defensive game against No. 5 Kentucky (Feb. 5), collecting game-highs in rebounds (6) and steals (4) to go along with nine points … Started at Arkansas (Feb. 16) and suffered a hyper-extended right knee with 13:40 remaining in the second half … Was helped off the floor and did not return … Was a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor and 3-of-3 from three-point range for 11 points in start against Auburn (Feb. 19) … Set a then career high making 6-of-6 from the free throw line and scoring 10 points in LSU upset over top seed Kentucky in SEC Tournament semifinals (March 3) … Scored 10 points in her first career NCAA Tournament game against San Diego State (March 18).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2010-11)
LSU’s top freshman who played in all 32 games and posted 5.2 points per game and upped that to 5.6 points per contest in SEC games … LSU’s second-leading three-point shooter having drained 32-of-111 for 28.8 percent … Recorded six double-figure scoring games … Tossed in eight points in her debut at Northwestern (Nov. 14) … Buried three treys with 11 points against No. 5 Tennessee (Jan. 2) … Put in 11 points off the bench against Alabama (Jan. 9) … Fired in 17 points to help lead LSU past Mississippi State (Jan. 13) … Tied an LSU freshman record for most three-pointers in an SEC game with five in a career-high 27 minutes against the Lady Bulldogs … Tied the mark of Cornelia Gayden set twice during the 1992 season (at Tennessee, vs. Miss. State) … Ignited a 7-0 run in the second half with back-to-back threes that put the game away … Represented the most three-pointers by a freshman in a game since Gayden had five against Mississippi State on March 6, 1992 … Tied that record two games later with 15 points and 5-of-9 threes in blowout win over Ole Miss (Jan. 20) … Earned a spot on the SEC Freshman Honor Roll for her outstanding efforts in the classroom.
