SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021-22)
Transferred to LSU from Baylor, following Coach Mulkey to play for her… Played a key role for the Tigers coming off the bench to play minutes in the post during her first season in Baton Rouge … Earned three starts throughout the season … Put up a career-high with 19 points and had 6 rebounds in LSU’s season opener against Nicholls … Also had double-figures at Auburn on Jan. 9 with 13 points … Grabbed a career-high 7 rebounds on Dec. 27 against Samford.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2020-21 at BAYLOR)
In her one season with the Lady Bears, Gusters had six double-figure scoring games with a career-high of 22 points coming in a win over Northwestern State… Earned a career-best 10 rebounds in a win over Kansas… Recorded 306 minutes played in 30 games with a total of 147 points, 10 blocks and 61 rebounds during her freshman year playing for Coach Kim Mulkey.
HIGH SCHOOL
Ranked No. 16 overall and the No. 2 center in the 2020 class by ESPNW’s Hoopgurlz … Named a McDonald’s All-American … Selected as a Jordan Brand Classic All-American … Earned a spot on the Naismith High School All-America Team … Picked for the 2020 WBCA High School All-America squad … As a freshman helped Duncanville High School to a state championship … Followed with a sophomore season that produced a Class 6A region finals appearance while averaging 14.5 points per game, and she helped the Pantherettes to a 39-2 record … Finished at Irving MacArthur High School where she averaged 22.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per contest as a senior … Named 2020 TABC Miss Basketball after earning first-team all-area honors from the Dallas Morning News.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Sheridane Gusters … Has two brothers, Peyton and Rylen … Grandfather, Dewey Ray Turner, played football for the University of Texas for the 1979 and 1980 seasons.
