SENIOR SEASON (2022)
Honored to the AVCA South All-Region team…started and appeared in all 30 matches and 119 sets…Led LSU and ranked No. 8 in SEC with 3.66 kills per set (436 total)…also led the team with 25 aces to go along with 49 blocks to average 4.10 points per set…averaged 2.25 digs per set (268 total)…finished the season with nine double-doubles on the year, including 16 kills and a career-high 18 digs in the NCAA Tournament win against Hawai’i (Dec. 2)…tallied five 20-kill performances this season, featuring a season-high 23 kills at Milwaukee (Sept. 9)…also registered a career-high seven blocks against Troy (Sept. 2) and a season-high of three aces in four different matches…named SEC Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 19) after averaging 5.00 kills per set in a pair of matches at the Tulane Invitational where she was also tabbed to the Tulane Invitational All-Tournament Team.
JUNIOR SEASON (2021)
Played in 24 matches with five starts in 78 sets of action…finished third on the team with 181 total kills and averaged 2.32 kills per set behind a .221 hitting percentage…also gathered 24 digs and 20 blocks…recorded nine matches with double-digit kills, including a season-best performance 21 kills and .581 hitting percentage versus Alabama (Sept. 25)…also had a season-high five blocks against Sam Houston State (Sept. 11) .
PRIOR TO LSU
Played her freshman and sophomore seasons at Oklahoma … In two seasons at Oklahoma, Dotson recorded 92 kills … Played in 27 sets over 16 matches as a freshman in Norman, recording four matches with double-digit kills … Had a significant increase in production as a sophomore, finishing her 2020-21 season with 215 total kills … Recorded double-digit kills in 13 of Oklahoma’s 18 matches … Had a career night during the final match of her sophomore season, recording a double-double with 26 kills and 12 digs.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Santana and Monique Dotson … Has three siblings; Khari, Amani and Indya … Father spent 11 years as a defensive tackle in the NFL, winning Super Bowl XXXI with the Green Bay Packers and earning the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1992 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
