PRIOR TO LSU
Gauthreaux played indoor volleyball (2018-2022) and one season of beach volleyball (2022) at Nicholls where she is a 2021 All-Southland Second Team selection, a two-time All-Louisiana Second Team honoree (2019, 2021) and a 2021 Southland All-Academic Second Team winner. The 6-1 outside hitter logged 767 career kills for Nicholls (2.72/set) and had 487 digs, 75 aces and 71 total blocks. In her senior season, Gauthreaux led the team with 310 kills (3.2/set) and had 20 or more kills twice, including a career-high 24 kills versus Northwestern St. Emily graduated from Nicholls with a Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Sciences with a concentration in Communication Disorders. At LSU, she will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Vandebilt Catholic High where she led her team to their first-ever State Championship in 2017 and was named Most Outstanding Player. In her senior season, she was the District 8-III Offensive MVP and Division III Most Outstanding Player. She was a four-time All-District First Team selection and three-time All-State and All-Region First Team honoree.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Scott and Michelle Gauthreaux … Has one sister, Gabby… father played basketball at Nicholls from 1987-1991.
