Recorded one of the best 60-meter indoor seasons in LSU history… closed his season taking bronze in the 60m at the SEC Indoor Championships with a time of 6.64 seconds… opened the year with a personal-best time of 6.61 seconds to win the 60m at the LSU Purple Tiger, which ranks him fourth in LSU performance-list history… tied his PR at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic with a time of 6.59, which converts to 6.61@ for altitude, to finish first in the 60m… took first at the Corky Classic with an altitude converted time of 6.64@ seconds in the 60m… finished second in the 60m at the Razorback Invitational with a time of 6.63 seconds… took first at the Tyson Invitational in the 60m with a time of 6.62 seconds… finished fourth in the 60m at the LSU Twilight with a time of 6.77 seconds… Second Team All-SEC (60m).
2023 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN AT ARKANSAS STATE)
Sun Belt Conference 100-meter champion with a career-best 10.16… Clocked a time of 20.96 to win the 200 meters at the Red Wolves Open… Placed third in the 200 meters and runner-up in the 4×100-meter relay (40.27) at the Joe Walker Invitational.
2023 INDOOR (FRESHMAN AT ARKANSAS STATE)
Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year and 60-meter champion, running 6.66 … 60-meter runner-up at the Music City Challenge (6.67) … Placed sixth in the 200 meters at the Jaguar Invitational (21.71) … Finished third in the 60 meters at the Vanderbilt Invitational.
PRIOR TO COLLEGE – Humble Summer Creek HS
Competed for Humble Summer Creek High School’s track team… held a 100-meter personal best time of 10.49 seconds… finished fifth at the Texas UIL 6A State Championships in the 100… took eighth at the Texas State Championships with the 4×100-meter relay team… held 60-meter PR of 6.93 seconds.
