PRIOR TO LSU – Homeschooled
A New Balance High School Outdoor National Champion and three-time record holder, Michaela Rose comes to LSU with outdoor personal bests of 54.04 (400 meters), 58.16 (400m hurdles), 2:04 (800 meters), and 4:46 (1,500 meters) … Rose won the New Balance High School outdoor 800-meter championship in 2019 with a time of 2:04.38 and the New Balance High School outdoor 400 meter championship in 2019 with a time of 55.20 … Rose holds the AAU National Junior Olympic 15-16 Age Group Record in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:05 as well as the Virginia State All-time record in the outdoor 800-meter race and the indoor 600-meter race … Multiple All-American finishes in the New Balance Championships, Foot Locker Cross Country South Regional, and both the AAU & USATF Junior Olympics.

Born on June 13, 2003, in Suffolk, VA… daughter of Michael Sr and Marcia Rose… has three siblings – Michael Jr, Michail, and Michailyn… both of Michaela’s parents, Michael Sr and Marcia lettered at Auburn University under Dennis Shaver… plans to pursue a degree in biological sciences at LSU.
