Established a new personal best in the mile, clocking 5:13.15 at the Bayou Bengal Invitational … Won the Purple Tiger Invitational in 5:20.09 … During the outdoor campaign, turned in a season-best time of 5:09.96 in the 1,500 meters at the Tiger Relays.

2003
Ran the mile during the indoor season and the 1,500 meters during the outdoor season … Finished second in the mile at the Purple Tiger Invitational with a season-best time of 5:35.91 … Clocked 5:42.09 at the LSU Twilight … During the outdoor season, posted a personal-best 1,500 meter time of 5:02.01 at the Tiger Twilight Classic.
