The No. 1 ranked hurdler in the nation coming out of high school… a 19-time Louisiana State Champion and 11-time All-American in high school…  the 2022-23 Louisiana Track & Field Gatorade Player of the Year… the Louisiana overall state record holder of 13.18 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles and 40.76 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles, replacing both of Alia Armstrong’s state records… No. 2 all time in state history in the 60-meter hurdles with an 8.37… No. 6 all-time in state history in the 400 meter with 56.31 seconds… in her senior season (2024) she earned two All-American honors and seven state titles – bronze at the New Balance Nationals in the 60h and 100h and won state titles in the 60h, 100h, 300h, 4×100-meter relay, 4×200-meter relay and 4×400-meter relay (x2)… as a junior (2023) – earned two AAU Junior Olympic titles in the 100h and 400h and five All-American honors at New Balance Nationals Indoors and Outdoors; also claimed six state titles in the 60h, 100h, 300h, 400m, 4×200 and 4×400… in her sophomore season (2022) – a New Balance Nationals All-American in the 100h and finished first in the 100h and second in the 400h at the AAU Junior Olympics; won six state titles in the 60h, 100h, 300h, 400m, 4×200 and 4×400… as a freshman in high school (2021) at the AAU Junior Olympics, Harris claimed gold in the 100h and 400h and also earned silver in the 400m… in eighth grade she claimed a state title in the 400m and earned silver in the 60h… Harris also took part in cross country with Scotlandville… in high school, Harris was classified as a Battalion Commander in the U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps and was recognized as a Superior Cadet… Harris was the Student Government Association Vice President at her school and volunteered locally with the Distinguished Divine Ladies Social and Civic Club.
