Competed sparingly during the indoor season, coming up with one of her top outings at the LSU Purple Tiger when she posted a time of 5:24.31 in the mile … Ran the second fastest 3,000-meter time by a Lady Tiger in 2001, clocking a time of 10:33.19 at the LSU Twilight … Did not compete outdoors.
Freshman season (2000)
Developed into one of the Lady Tigers’ top milers during the indoor season, registering a season-best time of 5:08.28 at the Gator Invitational at Florida … Finished sixth in her prelim of the mile at the SEC Indoor Championships, just missing her indoor PR with a time of 5:10.88 … Top 800-meter time was a 2:20.43 at the LSU Invitational … Ran a time of 4:48.19 at the SEC Quadrangular in Alabama to open the outdoor season … Missed a majority of the outdoor campaign with an injury.
Prep career
One of the top high school distance runners in Louisiana, she helped Bethany Christian to Class “B” State titles in 1997 and 1999 … Was the Louisiana State Champion in both the 800 and 1,600 during her high school career … An outstanding student, was a member of the high honor roll while at Bethany Christian.
