Competed in five meets during the indoor season… recorded a personal-best distance of 13.63 meters (44’ 8.75”) in shot put to finish third at the LSU Twilight… threw a PR of 14.45 meters (47’ 5”) in weight throw at the Razorback Invitational.

PRIOR TO LSU – Midland Legacy HS
One of the premier throwers in the nation throughout high school… qualified for the UIL State Track & Field Championships in Texas for three straight years… first LHS girl to qualify for three straight state track meets dating back to at least 1985 when the UIL online records for participants started… capped off her high school career with two medals during the UIL Class 6A Track and Field State Championships in 2023… first LHS girl to medal twice at the state meet since 2019… ended her high school career with a total of three UIL state meet medals after placing second in shot put at the 2022 state meet as a junior… held PR’s of 14.05 meters (46’ 1.5”) in shot put and 50.90 meters (167’ 0”) in discus throw.

Born on May 3, 2005, in Odessa, TX… daughter of Alfred and Lori Acosta… has one sibling, Nate… plans to pursue a degree in sport administration at LSU.
