Competed solely in high jump… had his best season yet finishing eighth and earning First Team All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a clearance of 2.15m (7-0.5)… cleared a season-best height of 2.18m (7-1.75) at the NCAA East First Round to finish first in the field and advance to the final meet… took ninth at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a clearance of 2.12m (6-11.5)… closed the regular season with a win and a clearance of 2.15m (7-0.5) at the LSU Invitational… took fourth at the Tom Jones Invitational and LSU Alumni Gold… 2024-25 LSWA Men’s Field Athlete of the Year… 1x USTFCCCA First Team All-American (HJ).
2025 INDOOR (SENIOR)
Competed in three meets solely in high jump… cleared a season-best height of 2.15m (7.05) twice, winning the Tyson Invitational and finishing fifth at the Razorback Invitational with the clearance… opened the season taking third with a clearance of 2.08m (6-9.75) at the LSU Purple Tiger… 2024-25 LSWA Men’s Field Athlete of the Year.
2024 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR)
Competed solely in high jump… closed the year taking 19th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a clearance of 2.12 meters (6’ 11.5”)… took third at the NCAA East First Round with a clearance of 2.17 meters (7’ 1.5”)… earned Second Team All-SEC and a silver medal at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a clearance of 2.19 meters (7’ 2.25”)… jumped a season best and No. 5 height in LSU PL history of 2.22 meters (7’ 3.25”) to finish second at the LSU Alumni Gold meet… opened the year taking first at the Hurricane Invitational with a clearance of 2.14 meters (7’ 0.25”)… finished second at Tom Jones Invitational with a height of 2.12 meters… Second Team All-SEC (HJ).

Competed in four meets solely in high jump… opened with a season-best height and No. 9 mark in LSU PL history of 2.12 meters (6’ 11.5”) to finish eighth at the Razorback Invitational… tied his SB of 2.12 meters to finish second at the LSU Twilight.

2023 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE AT SOUTH PLAINS)
Started the season off by setting the NJCAA collegiate record and new Zimbabwean record of 2.26 meters (7’ 5”) to open the season at the TTU Corky Classic… crowned the NJCAA National Champion for the third season in a row at the NJCAA DI Indoor Championships… finished first in high jump at the TTU Matador Qualifier… took second at the Texas Tech Open… the NJCAA national outdoor leader for high jump… USTFCCCA NJCAA DI Indoor National Athlete of the Year… NJCAA DI Champion (HJ)… USTFCCCA NJCAA DI All-American (HJ).
2022 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN AT SOUTH PLAINS)
Competed solely in high jump… closed the season at the African Athletics Championships with an eighth-place finish… crowned the back-to-back NJCAA Champion in high jump after tying his PR of 2.22 meters (7’ 3.25”) at the NJCAA DI Outdoor Championships… tied his PR of 2.22 meters at the Wes Kittley Invitational to take first… finished first at the Angelo State David Noble Relays… took first at the Ross Black Track and Field Open… recorded a third-place finish at the TTU Corky Classic… the NJCAA national outdoor leader for high jump… African Athletics Championships Finalist (HJ)… NJCAA DI Champion (HJ)… USTFCCCA NJCAA DI All-American (HJ).

Chadenga was one of the premier U20 jumpers in the world throughout high school, the greatest high jumper to come out of Zimbabwe… before heading to the states, held a personal-best height of 2.13 meters (6’ 11.75”) outdoors… at the age of 17, held a PR of 2.10 meters (6’ 10.75”) outdoors in 2020.
