Competed in six meets for the Tigers during the outdoor season… opened her season helping the 4×400-meter relay to a second-place finish and a time of 3:39.30 at the Hurricane Invitational… clocked a SB times of 54.94 seconds in the 400 meter to finish sixth at the Keyth Talley Invitational.
2024 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE)
Competed in five meets for the Tigers during the indoor season… opened her season with a SB time of 7.59 seconds in the 60 meter at the LSU Purple Tiger.
2023 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN)
Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminaries in the 200 meter… recorded a collegiate PR of 11.62 seconds at the Texas Relays… opened the season up with a 4×400-meter relay win at the Hurricane Invitational… also finished second in the 200 and fifth in the 100 at the Hurricane Invitational… finished third in the 200 at the LSU Battle on the Bayou… finished 38th at the SEC Outdoor Championships in the 200.
2023 INDOOR (FRESHMAN)
Closed her first season out as a USTFCCCA Second Team All-American, taking 11th in the NCAA Indoor Championship finals for the 4×400-meter relay… helped the 4×400 team to the fifth-fastest time in LSU performance list history of 3:29.94 at the Razorback Invitational… recorded a 60 meter PR of 7.46 seconds at the Red Raider Open… ran a PR of 23.72 seconds at the Razorback Invitational… recorded her collegiate PR of 53.73 seconds at the Tyson Invitational… finished in sixth for the 60 at the LSU Twilight USTFCCCA Second Team All-American (4×400).

2021-22 Gatorade Mississippi Girls Track & Field Player of the Year… 2020-21 Gatorade Mississippi Girls Track & Field Player of the Year… over the span of her career, Sanders racked up eight outdoor state titles individually, as well as three USATF national titles… won three individual state titles (in 100-, 200- and 400-meter dash) along with a shared relay crown at the MAIS 6A State Meet in 2022… swept the 100, 200, and 400 at the 2021 MAIS Overall State Championships, leading the Jaguars to the MAIS 5A team title in 2021… ran the anchor leg for a foursome that clocked a 49.23 to break an all-class MAIS record set in 1972… MAIS all-class state record-holder in 200 and 400, and the MAIS Class 5A record-holder in the 100… bronze medalist in the 100 at both the 2021 adidas Boost Boston Games and the NSAF USA Meet of Champions… owner of the No. 1 400 clocking (53.19) in state high school history according to MileSplit.com… holds the MAIS all-class state record for 200 and 400-meter dash times.
