Competed in four meets during her freshman season with the Lady Tigers … Opened the outdoor season with a runner-up finish in the 400-meter dash after running 56.51 seconds … Also ran the 200-meter dash at the Louisiana Classics where she finished in fifth place with a run of 24.99 … Finished in 17th place in the 400 meters at the Battle on the Bayou (55.35) before taking third place in the “B” section at the LSU Alumni Gold (55.97) … Made her collegiate debut in LSU’s indoor season opener by running the 400 meters at the Crimson Tide Indoor Opener … Suffered an injury in her only indoor race that kept her out of action until the start of the outdoor campaign … Followed the collegiate season by competing at the USA Junior Championships in Bloomington, Ind. … Clocked a seasonal-best time of 54.15 to take 11th place in the 400-meter semifinal at the USA Junior Championships … Transferred to Iowa State University after the end of her freshman season at LSU.
