One of the Tigers top performers throughout the 2006 season … Earned a pair of All-America honors in both the indoor and outdoor seasons … Finished third in the 60 meters (7.33) and seventh in the 200 meters (23.05) at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. … Posted a third-place finish in the 200 meters (22.78) and anchored the 4×100-meter relay team that finished second (42.94) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, Calif. … Teamed with Sherry Fletcher, Brooklynn Morris and Juanita Broaddus to clock the team’s fastest 4×100-meter relay time of the season in the final heat at the NCAA Championships … Had an impressive outing at the NCAA Mideast Regional by winning titles in both the 200 meters (22.73) and 4×100-meter relay (43.68) … Clocked personal bests in each of her three events during the season … Ran the second-fastest 60-meter time in school history with a 7.16 in her preliminary heat at the NCAA Indoor Championships … Clocked a blistering 11.08 in the 100 meters to earn All-SEC honors by finishing second at the SEC Outdoor Championships, while taking first place in the 200 meters at the NCAA Mideast Regional with a time of 22.73 … Earned first-place finishes in the 60 meters at both the Purple Tiger Invitational (7.36) and Bayou Bengal Invitational (7.26) … Won each of her 100-meter races at the Penn Relays (11.10) and Sagicor Championships (11.44) during the outdoor campaign … Finished first in the 200 meters at the UNM Lobo Invitational during the indoor season with a time of 23.41, while also posting first-place finishes in the event at the Tiger Classic (22.94w), LSU Alumni Gold (22.76w) and NCAA Mideast Regional (22.73) during the outdoor season.

Had an exceptional freshman campaign, earning a trio of All-America honors during the outdoor season … Finished fourth in the 100 meters (11.37) and eighth in the 200 meters (23.42) at the NCAA Championships … Also anchored the Lady Tigers to a fifth-place finish in the 4×100-meter relay at that meet, teaming with fellow freshmen Ashley Owens, Deonna Lawrence and Jessica Ohanaja to clock a seasonal-best time of 43.67 … Had an impressive outing at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships, winning the 100 meters (11.26) and finishing second in the 200 meters (22.93) … Both times marked personal bests … Just missed all-conference honors in the 100 meters, placing third at the SEC Championships (11.41) … Won the 200 meters at the LSU Alumni Gold, clocking a wind-aided time of 23.37 … Opened the outdoor season by winning gold in both the 100 and 200 meters at the Carifta Games, the under-20 Caribbean championships … Also anchored her native Trinidad and Tobago to silver in the 4×100-meter relay at that meet … Following the collegiate season, competed in the 100 meters for Trinidad at the IAAF World Championships …. Attended Signag Hill Secondary School in Trinidad and Tobago … A 2004 Olympian, she ran the lead leg on Trinidad and Tobago’s 4×100-meter relay team … Finished fourth in the 200 meters at the 2004 World Junior Championships … Won gold in the 200 meters and silver in the 100 meters at the 2004 Central America and Caribbean Championships … Was also Trinidad and Tobago’s junior national champion in the 100 and 200 meters in 2003 … Ran on the 4×100 relay team that set a junior national record with its time of 44.14 … Came to LSU with personal bests of 11.40 in the 100 meters and 23.22 (22.99w) in the 200 meters.
