Closed the year taking 21st at the NCAA East First Round with a personal-best throw of 54.77 meters (179’ 8”) in discus throw… finished eighth at the SEC Outdoor Championships in discus with a toss of 54.63 meters (179’ 3”)… took 13th at the SEC Championships with a throw of 53.51 meters (175’ 7”) in hammer throw… reached a new PR of 57.51 meters (188’ 8”) in hammer throw to finish 11th at the LSU Invitational… also took third in discus throw at the LSU Invitational with a toss of 52.69 meters (172’ 10”)… finished third in discus at the Tom Jones Memorial with a throw of 51.13 meters (167’ 9”)… opened the year finishing fourth at the Hurricane Invitational in discus throw with a toss of 53.97 meters (177’ 1”).
2024 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE)
Competed solely in weight throw for the Tigers in six meets… finished the season taking 10th with a throw of 19.55 meters (64’ 1.75”) at the SEC Indoor Championships… tossed a personal-best distance of 20.25 meters (66’ 5.25”) to take second at the LSU Twilight… opened the year taking second with a throw of 18.75 meters (61’ 6.25”).
2023 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN)
Closed his first outdoor season with 12th-place finishes in both discus throw and hammer throw at the SEC Outdoor Championships… recorded a discus throw PR of 52.67 meters (172’ 10”) at the SEC Outdoor Championships… finished ninth with a PR of 56.33 meters (184’ 10”) in hammer throw at the LSU Invitational… finished top-10 in both hammer and discus at the Hurricane Invitational… finished fourth at the LSU Battle on the Bayou in hammer throw… took seventh in hammer throw at LSU Lloyd Wills Invitational.
2023 INDOOR (FRESHMAN)
Competed solely in weight throw for the Tigers… closed the season with a PR of 17.83 meters (58’ 6”) at LSU Twilight to take second… finished sixth at the LSU Purple Tiger.
PRIOR TO LSU – Alpharetta HS
Competed at Alpharetta High School … played football for 11 years … began competing in track and field as a junior in high school … owns a personal best of 162’ 8” in the discus after only throwing for two seasons … took third at the 2021 Georgia High School Association state championship meet with a throw of 154’ 6” in the discus … GHSA Class 7A Region V champion in the discus with a throw of 155’ 9” … won a total of four event titles during his senior year.

Born on December 13, 2002, in Alpharetta, GA… son of Carmeleta and Audley Parara… has one sibling, Dante… plans to pursue a degree in business at LSU.
