Silver medalist in the long jump with a personal best mark of 24’ 5.75” (7.46 meters) at the LSU Twilight … placed eighth in the long jump event at the SEC Indoor Championships with a leap of 24’ 0.25” (7.32 meters) … registered a mark of 24’ 0.75” (7.33 meters) in the long jump competition at the Razorback Invitational to place ninth … finished in eighth place with a distance of 23’ 10.25” (7.27 meters) in the long jump event at the Tyson Invitational … recorded a jump of 23’ 9.0” (7.32 meters) to finish in 10th place in the long jump at the MLK Jr. Invitational.

Took silver at the LSU Alumni Gold with a long jump of 23’ 8.75” (7.23m) … longest jump of season was wind-aided mark of 24’ 4.25” (7.42m) at the Miami Hurricane Invitational for seventh place … finished fifth in the long jump at the LSU Invitational (24’ 1”), Battle on the Bayou (23’ 11.5”) and Louisiana Classics (23’ 6.25”) … represented LSU at SEC Championships in long jump.

Best long jump finish of the season was bronze at the LSU Twilight (23’ 2.5”) … ran PR of 7.00 in 60 meter dash at Red Raider Invite … finished fourth in the long jump at the UAB Invitational with a leap of 23’ 0.5” … finished sixth with a long jump of 23’ 2.75” at the Bayou Bengal.

Competed seven times during the outdoor campaign solely in the long jump … launched a career-best leap of 7.39 meters (24-3.00) at the Miami Hurricane Invitational to place third … garnered silver in the long jump at the Bobcat Invitational with a leap of 7.38 meters (24-2.50) … finished fourth at the Pac-12/Big Ten Invitational in the long jump with mark of 7.16 meters(23-6.00) … leaped out to an all conditions career-best mark of 7.41 meters (24-3.75) at the LSU Alumni Gold meet to place sixth.


Competed in the long jump in 11 meets during his true freshman season with the Tigers … Earned his first collegiate victory at the LSU Twilight meet during the indoor season with a winning jump of 23 feet, 10 3/4 inches … Jumped an indoor personal best of 24-1 3/4 in an eighth-place finish at the Razorback Invitational in January … Finished fourth indoors at the Auburn Indoor Invitational with a mark of 23-2 3/4 … Placed sixth at both the Purple Tiger Invitational (23-0 3/4) and bayou Bengal Invitational (23-1 1/4) … Added finishes of seventh place at the Commodore Invitational (23-4 3/4) and 13th place at the Tyson Invitational (23-6 3/4) during the indoor season … Suffered a hamstring injury on the team’s practice day in Nashville, Tennessee, ahead of the SEC Indoor Championships and was forced to scratch from his conference debut … Limited in his performance during the outdoor season … Opened the outdoor season with a wind-legal seasonal best of 22-10 3/4 (+0.7) for seveth place at the Battle on the Bayou … Jumped a wind-aided 22-7 1/4 (+2.5) for 13th place at the SEC Relays … Also competed in the long jump at the Beach Invitational (18-5) and LSU Alumni Gold (21-9) during the outdoor season … Honored for his academic performance with a selection to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll following the season.
