Posted a seasonal-best throw in the javelin of 177-11 in a 10th-place finish at LSU’s Battle on the Bayou … Threw 173-4 for third place in his season opener at the Hurricane Twilight at the University of Miami … Also placed seventh at the LSU Invitational with a throw of 162-7 and 13th at the LSU Alumni Gold with a mark of 174-2.
2015
Threw the javelin in five meets during the 2015 outdoor season … Posted a seasonal-best mark of 193 feet, 6 inches in a fourth-place finish at LSU’s Battle on the Bayou … Opened the season by throwing 183-3 in and eighth-place finish at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette … Earned a pair of sixth-place finishes at the Jim Click Shootout with a mark of 181-10 and LSU Invitational with a mark of 184-6 in his season finale … Also threw the javelin at the LSU Alumni Gold, posting a series-best mark of 165-0 for 15th place overall.
2014
Competed in both the hammer and javelin throws during the outdoor season … Lettered for the first time in his collegiate career after throwing the javelin at the SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Lexington, Kentucky … Ended his season by throwing a personal best of 197-11 in a 14th-place finish in qualifying at the SEC Championships … Placed fourth in the event at the LSU Invitational with a throw of 190-10 … Finished sixth at the Battle on the Bayou (181-0), ninth at the LSU Alumni Gold (177-10) and 10th at the Jim Mize Invitational (169-5) while throwing the javelin … Threw a personal best and seasonal best of 153-1 in a ninth-place finish in the hammer at the LSU Invitational in his regular-season finale … Posted a mark of 145-4 for a seventh-place finish in the hammer throw at the Battle on the Bayou … Also threw the hammer at Louisiana Tech’s Jim Mize Invitational and the LSU Alumni Gold during the outdoor season.
