Prior to LSU
Competed at Fontainebleau High School … 2019 bronze medalist at the 2019 LHSAA State Outdoor Championships in the pole vault with a mark of 11’ 5.75” … took third at the 2019 LHSAA Region II-5A meet in the pole vault (11’ 6”) … took fourth at the 2019 LHSAA State Indoor Championships with a pole vault mark of 10’ 8” … cleared 11’ 6” at the 2018 LHSAA State Outdoor Championships to garner silver … won the pole vault state title indoors in 2018 with a clearance of 11’ 11.75” … cleared 11 feet even at the 2017 LHSAA State Championships to claim gold … cleared a PR of 12’ 6” in the pole vault at the 2019 LHSAA District 6-5A Championships.

Daughter of Kathleen and Keith Bird … has two siblings (Ben and Emily) … plans on majoring in animal science … High Impact President … Bulldog Buddies Advisor … member of National Honors Society … Honor Roll member in high school … chose LSU because it’s close to home and has always been a dream of hers to attend LSU … favorite pole vaulting memory is the time she went to the Pole Vault Summit in Reno, Nevada and broke her PR four times in a single day.
