Austin under head coach Phil Olson and sprints coach Ta’ Frias … Led his team to its first ever conference championship in 2005 when it took first place at the SLC Indoor Championships … Earned three All-SLC selections and one conference title during his time at SFA … Member of the distance medley relay team that won a conference title at the 2005 SLC Indoor Championships … Earned all-conference recognition as a part of the distance medley relay team indoors and 4×100-meter relay team outdoors in 2006 … Was a two-time NCAA Midwest Regional qualifier at SFA … Qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships in the 4×100-meter relay in 2006 after the team clocked a school-record time of 40.41 during the outdoor campaign.
