Threw the javelin in six meets during his true freshman season with the Tigers in 2017 … Opened his collegiate career with a personal best of 198 feet, 2 inches in his debut at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette where he finished seventh overall … Made his debut appearance at the SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in May while posting his second-best mark of the season at 194-0 for 12th place in the field … Finished sixth at the Battle on the Bayou with a series-best of 179-10 … Earned back-to-back eighth-place finishes in the javelin at the LSU Alumni Gold (189-8) and SEC Relays (187-0) … Also threw the javelin at the Beach Invitational in California where he threw 175-3 for 21st place overall.
