Was a part of the 2000 District Track Championship at Comeaux High School in Lafayette, La. … Was named to the “Who’s Who in Sports Among American High School Students” … Finished 2nd in the state and 5th in the nation at junior nationals in the javelin her junior year…Also lettered two years in volleyball … Her high school PR in the javelin last season was a throw of 144-11.
