Comer has been one of the most successful runners to come through the southern Illinois area in years, winning five state championships in total during her track & field career… in 2024 she won the 400-meter state title with a time of 55.19 seconds, she also finished runner-up int the 800 meter at the meet with a time of 2:12.63… in 2023, Comer won the state 400m title with a time of 56.85 seconds and the 800m title with a time of 2:12.65… she ran a PR of 2:09.95 in the 800m at the HOKA Festival of Miles after the state title winning performances in 2023… during the 2023 indoor season she claimed the 800m title at the Illinois championships with a time of 2:17.05… outdoors in 2022 she won gold in the 800m final of the Illinois State Championships with a time of 2:16.07… she also finished runner-up at that meet in the 3200 meter with a personal-best time of 10:57.60… the middle-distance star holds T&F personal-best times of 56.85 (400), 2:09.95 (800), and 4:59.69 (3200)… in cross country she last claimed silver at the IHSA XC Sectionals with a time of 16:51.8 in the 2.92 mile before taking 11th at the state championship in the three mile with a time of 17:40.8… a sectional (2.92 mile) and regional (3.1 mile) champion in cross country during the 2022 season… also won sectionals (2.9 mile) and regionals (three mile) during the 2021 season… holds personal-best times of 16:51.8 (2.92 mile), 17:33.2 (three mile) and 19:02.2 (5k) in cross country… she was the first NCAA Division I signing from her school since it opened in 1946.

Born on April 11, 2006, in Evansville, Ind… daughter of Robert and Holly Comer… has a twin brother… plans to pursue a degree in kinesiology at LSU.
