Opened the season at Utah placing second on one-meter with a score of 288.23 and third on three-meter with a score of 292.50… In a tri-team meet with FSU and Alabama, won three-meter with a score of 343.55 and claimed sixth on one-meter with a score of 277.10… In the midseason meet at the Art Adamson Invitational, placed sixth on three-meter (338.35; 7th in prelims: 343.45) and seventh on one-meter (304.20; 6th in prelims)… At the Tennessee Diving Invitational, claimed 14th place on one-meter (298.65) and 15th on three-meter (321.70)… In a dual meet vs. Texas A&M, had two fifth-place finishes on one-meter (267.30) and three-meter (334.28)… At Tennessee in the final regular-season dual meet of the season, placed third on three-meter (351.60) and fourth on one-meter (330.98)… At the SEC Championships, competed in the consolation final on three-meter, placing eighth with a score of 289.00 (Prelims: 12th – 325.35); also claimed 22nd on platform (227.45) and 30th on one-meter (216.35)… At the NCAA Zone D Diving Regional, claimed 14th in the final on three-meter (687.50 (351.85) – Prelims: 335.65) and 21st on one-meter (262.20)
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022-23)
In a dual meet against South Carolina, took second place on one meter with a score of 328.28 and fifth on three-meter with a score of 307.65… For a tri-team meet with Denver and Air Force, claimed second on three-meter with a score of 349.75 and sixth place on one meter with a score of 259.60… In an SEC meet vs. Auburn, placed fourth on three-meter (324.45) and fifth on one-meter (279.15)… In the Tigers’ midseason meet at the Texas Diving Invitational, claimed 11th place on platform (262.00), 18th on three-meter (301.50) and 23rd on one-meter (236.60)… At the Auburn Diving Invite, claimed third on one-meter with a score of 331.90; also placed seventh on platform (326.45) and 11th on three-meter (306.60; Prelim – 313.65)… Against FSU, won on the one-meter with a final score of 344.40 and placed sixth on three-meter (323.48)… In the final regular season meet vs. Texas A&M, took seventh place on one-meter (298.65) and three-meter (309.75)… At the 2023 SEC Championships, placed 17th on one-meter (263.15) and 27th on three-meter (249.30)
FRESHMAN SEASON (2021-22)
Started out the year against Grand Canyon with a fourth-place finish on the one-meter and the three-meter… Had two fourth-place finishes at the Rocky Mountain Invitational with a score of 300.95 on the one-meter springboard and a 329.35 on the three-meter… At the Auburn Diving Invitational, placed eighth on platform with a final score of 248.25; also placed 10th and 12th respectively on the three-meter and one-meter with scores of 300.75 and 239.35… During the Texas A&M meet, he had a fifth-place finish on the three-meter with a final score of 334.35 and a sixth-place finish on one meter with a final score of 282.53… At the 2022 SEC Championships, claimed22nd place on three-meter with a score of 285.40, 27th place on one-meter with a score of 253.25, and 23rd on platform with a score of 240.95… At the NCAA Zone D regional, finished in 15th place on three-meter with a score of 689.85 (Prelim:334.80), and 18th on one-meter with a score of 543.55 (Prelim: 308.50)

Full name is Zayne Merrick Danielewicz … Born February 12, 2003 … His hometown is Riverwoods, Ill., where he attended Deerfield HS… He is majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Movement Sciences… His parents’ names are Stacie and Brian, and he has two siblings: Holden and Skylar… He chose LSU because “I connected immediately with the coach. I felt that Coach Shaffer could take me to be one of the top athletes at the next level, and as soon as I saw the LSU campus I knew this is exactly where I want and need to be.”
