FRESHMAN SEASON (2023-24)
Opened his freshman season at LSU with a seventh-place finish in the 1000-yard free (10:06.01), and eighth place in the 500-yard free (4:48.36)… In a tri-team meet with FSU & Alabama, placed ninth in the 1000-free with a time of 9:47.21 and 12th in the 200-IM with a time of 2:00.77… At the midseason meet in the Art Adamson Invite, placed ninth in the 1650-free (16:05.80), 15th in the 500-free (4:34.20), and 18th in the 400-IM (4:01.41)… Against Tennessee, placed sixth in the 1000-free (9:34.72) and seventh in the 200-IM (1:56.29)… At the SEC Championships, placed 31st in the 1650-free (15:50.12),  35th in the 400-IM (4:02.94), and 39th in the 500-free (4:32.17)

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Jesuit HS in New Orleans… State Champion in the 500-yard freestyle during his junior year… Lettered all four years during his prep career… All-American in the 400-yard freestyle relay owns part of the state record for the same event… Named team captain and led his team to its 40th State Championship in his senior season… Earned the Jesuit High School Rodriquez Family Award – Most Valuable Swimmer 2023

PERSONAL
Full name is Truman Adalbert Breithaupt VII and was born on Jan. 17, 2005… Planned major heading into his first collegiate season is Mechanical Engineering… Has one brother named Ben and his parent’s names are Truman and Laurie Breithaupt… An interesting fact: “I can juggle with my feet and hands”… Chose LSU because: “I chose LSU because of the outstanding academic and athletic excellence. I’m proud to represent the state I was born and raised in. I want to thank my parents, coaches, and friends for helping me get to where I am now. Additionally, I want to thank the LSU coaching staff for this opportunity. GEAUX TIGERS!!!”
