SENIOR SEASON (2023-24)
In her first season with LSU, opened against Utah with a second-place finish in the 100-breast (1:05.54) and fourth in the 200-breast (2:26.23)… In the home opener vs. Arkansas, had two third-place finishes in the 100-breast (1:03.35) and 200-breast (2:20.24)… During a tri-team meet with FSU and Alabama, placed fifth in the 100-breast with a time of 1:04.85 and ninth in the 200-breast with a time of 2:24.58… At the Tiger’s midseason meet in the Art Adamson Invitational, claimed 15th in the 50-free (23.40), 17th in the 100-breast (1:02.03) and 18th in the 200-breast (2:16.95)
SENIOR SEASON (2022-23 at Pitt)
Third in 100 breast (1:03.47) against Notre Dame/ Penn State… Fifth in 100 breast (1:04.25) and ninth in 200 breast (2:24.62) against Michigan/ Wisconsin… Second in 100 breast (1:03.50) and second in 200 breast (2:19.90) against West Virginia… Member of the three relay teams that broke school records in the 200 Free Relay (1:29.18), 200 Medley Relay (1:36.68), and the 400 Medley Relay (3:36.54)… The 200 Free Relay finished tied for 6th-place and earned an NCAA B Cut – the highest placement in program history… Posted a personal best time of 1:00.94 in the 100 Breast prelims at the ACC Championships – finished 16th overall in the finals with a time of 1:01.32 and earned an NCAA B Cut
JUNIOR SEASON (2021-22 at Pitt)
New School Record – 200 Medley Relay (1:38.25) at ACC Championships… Third place in the 100 Breast (1:03.68), the 200 Medley Relay (1:43.04), the 200 Breast B Heat (2:22.32), and the 400 Medley Relay (3:48.09) at the FIU TYR Fall Classic… Second place in the 100 Breast (1:03.71) and the 200 Medley Relay (1:42.83), Third place in the 200 Free Relay (1:34.21), the 400 Medley Relay (3:47.91) and the 400 Free Relay (3:31.24), eighth place in the 200 Breast (2:24.60) against Notre Dame / Cleveland State… First in the 100 Breaststroke (1:04.47), the 200 Free Relay (1:34.95) and the 200 Medley Relay (1:44.82), third in the 200 Breaststroke (2:25.81) against George Washington… Eighth place in the 200 Free Relay (1:31.68) at the Ohio State Invitational… Placed first in the 200 Medley Relay (1:44.51), second place in the 100 Breast (1:06.29) against Villanova… First place in the 100 Breast (1:03.06), 200 Medley Relay (1:40.08), and 400 Medley Relay (3:41.97), second in the 200 Free Relay (1:34.73) and 400 Free Relay (3:28.10), fourth place finish in the 200 Breast (2:22.67), seventh in the 50 Free (24.15) and 200 IM (2:07.95) at the Western PA Invite… ACCs: 29th – 100 Breast, 44th – 200 Breast, 50th – 500 Free
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020-21 at Pitt)
First place in the 200 Medley Relay and 100 Breast against West Virginia… Seventh place at ACC Championships in the 200 Free Relay
FRESHMAN SEASON (2019-20 at Pitt)
Debuted as a college swimmer with a promising freshman season… Swam in three individual events for the Panthers: 50 Free, 100 Breast, 200 Breast… Posted top times in all three events at her first ACC Championships… ACC: 26th in the 100 Breast, 36th in the 200 Breast, 56th in the 50 Free
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Connellsville Area Senior High School in Connellsville, Pa… 2019 PIAA Class AAA qualifier in the 50 Free and 100 Breast, finishing top-10 in both events… 2019 WPIAL bronze medalist in the 50 Free and placed fifth in the 100 Breast… Regularly event-winner in dual meets for Connellsville High School near Pittsburgh… Competed at YMCA and Speedo events across the Mid-Atlantic region… Holds 9 out of the 11 records from her prep seasons – 3 of them are relays and 6 are individual

Full name is Tatum Elizabeth Detwiler and was born on May 11, 2001… Major is Digital Marketing heading into her fifth year in college… Daughter of Jon and Carrie Detwiler… Has four siblings – Hunter, Alek, Sophie and Ella… An interesting fact: “I am the middle child. Also, I have a turtle obsession”… Her dad Jon and one of her brothers have bowled perfect 300’s multiple times…Chose LSU because: “I chose LSU because I wanted to experience a new environment and to continue my learning somewhere new. I also wanted to be a part of the close-knit team culture that they display and wanted a team that aspires to do big things and reach very high goals. I believe the coaches at LSU have all of the tools and skills to help me achieve the goals I have set for my 5th year!”
