FRESHMAN SEASON (2023-24)
Joined the LSU team in the Spring 2024 semester and competed in his first meet against the Texas A&M Aggies… Recorded top-10 LSU times in the 1650-free (5th – 15:06.94) and the 200-free (10th – 1:36.10)… Clocked a school record 8:56.50 in his first competition race – the 1000-yard freestyle – which broke Craig Hamilton’s 12-year record… Also competed in the 500-yard freestyle and finished second with a time of 4:21.56, which ranks No. 6 in LSU history… Against Tennessee, he placed second in the 1000-free (8:57.49) and fifth in the 500-free (4:27.11)… At the 2024 SEC Championships, he took 16th place in the 1650-free (15:06.94), 17th in the 500-free (4:16.15) and 28th in the 200-free (1:36.10)
