SENIOR SEASON (2023-24)
Opened up her senior season at Utah by finishing fifth in the 100-back with a time of 57.55 and eighth in the 500-free with a time of 5:21.72… In a tri-team meet with FSU and Alabama, placed 11th in the 100 free with a time of 52.77 and 10th in the 100-back with a time of 57.91

JUNIOR SEASON (2022-23)
In the opening meet with Tulane and Vanderbilt, finished sixth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.79…claimed bronze in the 200-yard backstroke with a readout of 2:02.60… Against South Carolina, finished eighth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.10…took seventh place in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:06.08… In a tri-meet against Denver and Air Force, finished ninth in the 100-yard backstroke with a readout of 59.93…claimed sixth place in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:08.20… In a dual meet with Auburn, finished eighth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.26…claimed seventh place in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:05.30… Against Alabama, finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.21…took fifth in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:04.57… At the Art Adamson Invitational, claimed 32nd in the 100-back (57.45 – Prelims: 56.52), 19th in the 200-back (2:00.13) and 53rd in the 50-free (23.81)… Against FSU, had two seventh-place finishes in the 200-free (1:53.59) and 200-back (2:05.85)… At the Auburn University Invite, claimed fifth in the 200-back (2:00.82), sixth in the 50-free (23.39), 12th in the 200-free (1:49.90) and 14th in the 100-free (51.32)

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021-22)
Against Grand Canyon, had two third-place finishes in the 100-yard back and 200-yard back with times of 57.77 and 2:05.49… At the Rocky Mountain Invitational, finished second in the 100-yard back with a time of 57.46 and third in the 200-yard back with a time of 2:07.17… Against Alabama, had two fourth-place finishes in the 100-yard back and 200-yard back with respective times of 57.19 and 2:02.39… At the Art Adamson Invitational, claimed seventh place in the 200-back with a time of 1:59.58, 19th in the 100-back with a time of 56.82, 26th in the 200-free with a time of 1:52.89, and 28th place in the 50-free with a time of 23.72… Against Tulane, finished with three third-place finishes in the 100-back (57.75), 50-free (24.35) and 200-back (2:05.60)… Against Texas A&M, placed fourth in the 100-back with a time of 57.78 and fifth in the 200-back with a time of 2:04.81… At the 2022 SEC Championships, she placed 54th in the 50-free with a time of 23.58, 38th in the 100-back with a time of 56.10 and 31st in the 200-back with a time of 1:59.70

FRESHMAN SEASON (2020-21)
Against Alabama to start the season, finished in fifth place in the 50 and 100-Yard Freestyle with times of 23.90 and 52.19… At the Art Adamson Invitational, finished in eighth place in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 23.97, 11th place in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 52.24, and 12th place in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 57.13… Against Tulane, she touched the wall second in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 51.78 and fourth in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:51.80… Against Florida State University she finished fourth in the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:51.82 and seventh in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 52.44… Against Texas A&M she touched the wall sixth overall in the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:55.12… At the 2021 SEC Championships, finished in 45th place in the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:50.53, 46th place in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 51.02, and 55th place in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 23.56… Named to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll

PRIOR TO LSU
Lettered four years at Mountain View High School for coach Lindsey Monteon… Was a Three-Time County Champion in the 100 Back, and a County Champion in the 100 Free… Placed in the Top-Three at the State Championships three years straight in the 100 Free as well as the 100 Back.

Full name is Sarah Grace Thompson… Born on April 4, 2002… Parents are Tad and Kimberly Thompson… Has one sister, Charlotte, and one brother, TJ… Three-Time Academic Letter Winner, Member of the High Honor Roll, Student Leadership Team, and was a National Merit Scholarship Qualifier… Chose LSU because, “The team immediately felt like family, and everyone I met on campus was so kind and helpful. The support system for student athletes is amazing, and I knew I would thrive at LSU in both the classroom and the pool…” Majoring in Biology.
