Against Grand Canyon, had two third-place finishes in the 100-yard back and 200-yard back with times of 57.77 and 2:05.49

FRESHMAN SEASON (2020-21)
Against Alabama to start the season, finished in fifth place in the 50 and 100-Yard Freestyle with times of 23.90 and 52.19… At the Art Adamson Invitational, finished in eighth place in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 23.97, 11th place in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 52.24, and 12th place in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 57.13… Against Tulane, she touched the wall second in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 51.78 and fourth in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:51.80… Against Florida State University she finished fourth in the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:51.82 and seventh in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 52.44… Against Texas A&M she touched the wall sixth overall in the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:55.12… At the 2021 SEC Championships, finished in 45th place in the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:50.53, 46th place in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 51.02, and 55th place in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 23.56… Named to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll

PRIOR TO LSU
Lettered four years at Mountain View High School for coach Lindsey Monteon… Was a Three-Time County Champion in the 100 Back, and a County Champion in the 100 Free… Placed in the Top-Three at the State Championships three years straight in the 100 Free as well as the 100 Back.

Full name is Sarah Grace Thompson… Born on April 4, 2002… Parents are Tad and Kimberly Thompson… Has one sister, Charlotte, and one brother, TJ… Three-Time Academic Letter Winner, Member of the High Honor Roll, Student Leadership Team, and was a National Merit Scholarship Qualifier… Chose LSU because, “The team immediately felt like family, and everyone I met on campus was so kind and helpful. The support system for student athletes is amazing, and I knew I would thrive at LSU in both the classroom and the pool…” Majoring in Biology.
