SENIOR SEASON (2012-13)
A fast underwater swimmer who exceled in the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly … Swam the third leg of the team’s fastest 200 medley relay (1:26.48) at the SEC Championships … Narrowly missed earning a second swim in the 100 back after registering a career low 49.40 at the SEC Championships … Raced his season low in the 200 fly (1:50.92) at the Phil Hansel midseason invitational … Posted his season bets in the 100 fly (49.06) in a dual victory over Alabama … Finished third in the 200 fly (1:50.92) and fourth in the 100 fly (49.69) at the Phil Hansel Invite … Captured the 100 fly crown and finished second in the 100 back in a dual victory over Alabama … Took third in the 100 fly with a time of 50.10, which was .10 behind the first place swimmer, in a dual with Auburn … Registered second place swims in the 100 back (50.83) and in the 100 fly (49.74) in a victory over Kentucky on men’s senior day … Posted a second place finish in the 100 fly (49.70) in a road win over SMU … Cranked out a second place swim in the 100 fly (49.37) in a dual with Texas A&M … Earned his second varsity letter.

JUNIOR SEASON (2011-12)
Arrived at LSU from junior college and quickly made an impact in the butterfly and backstroke events … Competed at the SEC Championships, at the Tennessee Invitational and in every dual meet … Posted the season’s third best 100 fly mark of 49.56 against Florida … Finished 20th in the 200 fly (1:51.89) at the SEC Championships … Registered a 100 fly mark of 49.76 and 100 back mark of 50.58 at the conference meet, which were both season bests … Swam to an 11th place finish in the 200 fly (1:52.14) and a 12th place finish in the 100 fly (49.84) at the Tennessee Invitational … Captured a pair of victories in the 100 back and 100 fly against Florida … Earned silver in the 100 fly (49.97) against Auburn … Took second in the 100 back and 100 fly against Florida State … Led off the first place 200 medley relay (1:30.22) and gained 11 points in a two point dual meet victory over Alabama … Earned his first varsity letter.
