FRESHMAN SEASON (2024-25)
NCAA qualifier in the 500-free and 1650-free … Finished in 26th place for the 1650-free (14:55.07) and 43rd in the 500-free (4:19.64) … Opened the season against Texas with a fifth-place finish in the 1000-free (9:07.33) and seventh-place finish in the 100-free (47.26) … Placed second in the 500-free (4:30.15) and third in the 1000-free (9:22.35) in a quad-team meet featuring Navy, George Mason, and Loyola (Md.) … In a tri-team meet with Alabama and Florida State, placed second in the 1000-free (8:57.60) and sixth in the 500-free (4:25.12) … At the Tigers’ midseason meet in the Georgia Invite, he claimed sixth place in the 1650-free (14:56.69), 12th in the 500-free (4:18.57), and 35th in the 200-free (1:40.37) … Against Texas A&M, won the 1000-free with a time of 8:52.67 – school record), and placed second in the 500-free (4:23.21) … At the 2025 SEC Championships, placed eighth in the 1650-free (14:47.23), 29th in the 500-free (4:19.20) and 47th in the 200-free (1:37.80)

Born on May 28, 2005… A native of Belgrade, Serbia – the home of the 2024 European Aquatic Championships… Coming to LSU, he will major in something under the business umbrella… Parents names are Ivana and Vladimir and he has one sibling – a sister… When his father was younger, Simic says, he was really good in that sport… Chose LSU because “I heard so many good things about LSU. I have four friends already studying at LSU, and they are all satisfied with everything the university and coaching staff offer in their development.”
