SOPHOMORE SEASON
In the opening meet against Tulane and Vanderbilt, placed seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.26…finished 12th in the 200-yard IM with a readout of 2:15.07. Against Auburn, claimed eighth place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.70…took seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke with a readout of 2:26.53. Versus Alabama, finished seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.89…also claimed seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:24.84.
FRESHMAN SEASON
Placed fourth in the 200 IM with a time of 2:11.01 in her first meet as a Tiger; participated on the fourth-place relay team for the 200-yard medley, finishing with a time of 1:47.76… At the Art Adamson Invitational, finished in 28th place for the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.01 and 29th place in the 100-free with a time of 52.52… Against Tulane, claimed two-seventh place finishes in the 200-free and 200-IM with respective times of 1:58.59 and 2:12.47; also placed eighth in the 100-free with a time of 55.37
HIGH SCHOOL
Athlete representative for the state of Mississippi in swimming during her junior and senior season… Named the team captain of the Madison-Ridgeland Academy swim team during her junior and senior seasons… Holds the state record in the 50-breaststroke for the MAIS… Also holds the Mississippi state record in five other events: 100-yard breast, 200-meter Free relay, 200-meter Medley relay, 400-meter Free relay, 400-meter Medley relay

Full name is Margaret Ann Braman… Born May 20, 2003… Her hometown is Madison, MS., where she attended Madison-Ridgeland Academy… Majoring in Kinesiology… Her parents’ names are David and Abby, and she has one brother, Josh… She chose LSU because “I fell in love with the campus and the team when I visited and knew immediately that LSU would be the perfect fit for me. I am so excited to join something bigger than myself and join a team culture dedicated to pushing each other to be the best athletes and students we can be.”
